Marathon Thermopylae Plataea Perama/Salamis Tour (up to 11 hours)

Marathon -Thermopylae - Plataea - Salamis tour starts from Athens in the morning , drives through the fertile plain of Messogia. Visit the battlefields of Marathon and the tombs of the Athenian soldiers who died in the battle.

We will drive to Marathon bay, next we will visit the Marathon museum 6km farther...Leave Marathon for the drive to Thermopylae stopping to see the statue of Leonidas. This is a tour strictly to see the battlefields and the scenery, there are few ancient ruins to see. Next we will visit the new interactive museum, where we get info and watch an informative detailed 3d video of the battle.... Visit Kolonos Hill ( Final stand of Spartans & Thespians)

Gargathia Spring

Around noon we depart for Thebes ( visit a unique Museum) next visit Plataea battle fields & Gargaphia Spring which was the Greeks’ main source of water. From there we will drive through Mount Cithaeron to Elefsis. Shortly we will take the scenic coastal road to Piraeus. We will view the sea paths of Salamis with Mainland (From Port of Perama).
