ATHENS WALKING TOUR

We visit Athens, city of Goddess Athena as travelers, not as tourists

Athens  Walking Tour starts from Acropolis Metro Station. Our Comment: Athens is a place of great cultural interest, as well as a vivid and modern city. The harmonious and perfectly balanced combination between the old and the new age make this city unique. Both sides of Athens are extremely appealing to tourists.

Athens is an open Museum... we walk back in time and viewing the city from different angles

Greece Taxi and our licensed private tour guides takes you on a walking private  tour, which is necessary to view the archeological, historical and modern sites in Athens. Please look on Touring info and not hesitate to make a request or You Can Call +30 6973057711 with Viper or Whats Up

Dear travelers, in order to see the Archaeological, historical or modern sites in Athens a walking tour is necessary.  Our tour in Athens starts from Dionysus Areopagitou, a beautiful pedestrian road located at the bottom of Acropolis hill and next to Acropolis Metro Subway and  Museum of Acropolis, which we will visit first. A brand new museum opened in 2009 to host all the findings that have been excavated on the hill of Acropolis and its slopes also known as the museum of the senses.

There we will visit the Roman Agora, the famous Hadrian Library and the Tower Of the Winds, where was operating an hydraulic clock mechanism.

Ermou Street (Odos Ermou, "Hermes Street"), is a one and a half kilometer-long road in central Athens, Greece, connecting Kerameikos archaeological site with the Syntagma Square through Monastiraki, Psiri and Thiseio.

With fashion shops and shopping centers promoting most international brands, it is in the top five most expensive shopping streets in Europe, and the tenth most expensive retail street in the world. Nearby, the renovated Army Fund building in Panepistimiou Street includes the "Attica" department store and several upmarket designer stores.

The Byzantine Church of Panaghia Kapnikarea. One of the oldest churches in Athens, the Byzantine Church of Panaghia Kapnikarea is in a small square, on the east section of Ermou Street.
